Biography

I wish my paintings to bring a soft day-to-day therapy that leads you into the core of your very heart. You may start by focusing on the title of the painting and then, let it slowly expand into that what is You. My paintings support your heart!

As an artist and illustrator I am self-taught. Over the years I have also completed an education as therapist - body&touch/dialogue/art -. To be able to function well as a being, professionally as well as private, it is important that body and soul are balanced. And that involves to understand our own needs and to know and establish our own limits. I consider my journey has been long and not very straight, but it has made me to what I am today.

To start with, I was graduated from IHR/ strategic market communication in Stockholm and worked for 7 years at the Foreign Ministry in Sweden - abroad in China and Tunisia and in Stockholm mainly within the department for Human Resources. I transferred to trade and industry and for a couple of years I joined the Ericsson Group where I was involved in the marketing of a specific management-concept regarding the accomplishment of large international projects. After that, I became responsible for the publicity at UIP, United International Pictures in Sweden. Which included the releases of the main film-productions from the Hollywood Studios at that specific time, as well as the Bond-films from Albert Broccoli Studios.

By this time... my interest for colours and design became more and more obvious to myself. Together with some friends I established an agency for French interior textiles in Sweden.

I moved to Oslo, where my son was born. Today he is a young man of twenty-three years that I am very proud of. Generously has he taught me about joy and how I can bring colour into life. In this work nature in itself is a never-ceasing source of recreation and inspiration. And the continuation... Well, through cooperation and dialogue new possibilities will reveal itself. And everything becomes possible. Where we believe magic to end - it actually has its beginning!
